Here’s a little backstory on our latest pilot for Amazon Studios’ Sara Solves It.

It features the brother and sister duo Sara and Sam on relatable mysteries that spring from the questions young children encounter in their daily lives. Each mystery is an interactive, math-based puzzle.

SO sad it didn’t get picked up! Is there still a chance we will see more Sara in the near future?

My daughter had a very hard time at math when she was in elementary school. So I made up songs for her to memorize multiplication tables and on our bathroom tiles, wrote down the multiplication tables for her so she could remember them and visually see the patterns.

Math was difficult for me growing up so I challenged myself to make my daughter comfortable with math as she was with english. Numbers should be no more difficult than the alphabet.

Today, she is a university student, taking up engineering which is as, you know, a male-oriented field. The ratio of men to women is 8 to 2. Sara Solves It empowers girls, incorporates math and problem solving in a tv animation! Fantastic! Love it!

    • What a great influence you are!! That’s an incredible story! You must be so proud

We’re all for the girl power around here..esp when it’s STEM related!!

      Thanks for commenting Geraldine 🙂
