Angela's Clues

I’ve been a contributor to web-land for only about a year and a half, but I’ve met so many wonderful people with amazing stories and strong voices. Kathy Radigan (from My Dishwasher’s Possessed) and Val Curtis (from Mental Chew) are two women from within such a talent pool.

On July 16, 2012, they launched the premiere issue of their weekly magazine, Bonbon Break..because every mama needs one. I’m honored that they’ve asked me to be a regular contributor among such a strong team of writers and moms.

Check it out when you happen to find a nice break for yourself.

  1. Angela, Thank you so much for commenting on the post I wrote about taking one of my sons to see Super Why! Live! I didn’t realize that you also created Blues Clues, another family favorite. We have three sons and a daughter, and our two older sons (now 9 and 7) were HUGE Blues fans when they were younger. As a matter of fact, Nick (at 7) STILL loves his Blue and Periwinkle (whom he calls Winkle) stuffed animals. I can’t tell you what a big part of our lives your creations have been, and anytime I see any of the characters for the rest of my life, I will be reminded of some very sweet memories. Thanks again for commenting on my blog!

Oh, and I wish I’d been able to go to BlogHer last week … I have several friends who went who said it was just wonderful. I was nominated for BlogHer Voices of the Year this year (but not chosen), but I couldn’t attend for financial reasons. Perhaps next year!

    • I just love to hear people’s stories about how our programs affect their childrens’ lives! It puts all the nonsense into perspective. Thanks for sharing here & posting about Super Why! on your blog!

..Should you attend BlogHer next year, I’d love to meet you.

      Thx again!

  2. These are all wonderful recommendations but I must admit that I clicked on the Bonbon Break because I thought it said bourbon – either way, I very glad that I did 🙂
